About Sonai Infrastructure

Our Executive Chirman, Mr. Shrinivas Patil, who graduated in Civil Engineering in 1983, inspires Sonai Infra. He started our company with private contracts in real estate under the name ‘Krishna Developers.’ With his commitments towards work and consistent willingness to grow, Krishna Developers has become one of the largest developers of residential and commercial buildings in the western Maharashtra region. He further expanded the company in the irrigation sector and procured large-scale dams, canals, and barrage projects. Today, the company has become Class-I government registered contractor with vast experience and expertise to undertake any size of project in the sector.

Furthermore, in 2008, birth of Sonai Infra occurred with the quest to grow in the agriculture & road sector, merging businesses of Krishna Developers. Initially, Sonai Infra concentrated in Agri Field under the leadership of our Managing Director, Ms. Manisha, where we worked majorly into production of pure quality organic manure, and converting all our farms into Organic Farms, and exporting our products into international markets. In the same year the company was awarded NOCA certification, which is recognized as a standard of Quality in Organic Fertilizer industry.

In 2011, an absolute turnaround took place when Mr.Ankush, Masters from United Kingdom joined as a Chief Executive Officer of the company. The company grabbed major projects in Road sectors and expanded all its assets, human resources to match the current new orders. Afterthat, the company has seen exponential growth and achieved landmark success in the industry.

Ajinkya Patil, Director, is also a Civil Engineer Graduate. Under his able guidance the company witnessed the successful execution and completion of various contracts. Today, the company has become eligible for handling new contracts like Roads, Bridges, Flyovers, Sewerage Projects , Residential and Commercial Buildings, etc. He leads all the execution activities for civil projects.

Sonai Infrastructure is a dynamic and upcoming organization with a strength of 425+ employees in Railway projects all over Maharashtra. The core management is young, dynamic and very enthusiastic in development of the company. The company has already handover successfully Shenoli to Takari doubling project. The company has number of project in hand and is successful completing minor and major bridges of railway projects. The company has started from basic earthwork, embankment, building minor and major bridges, till laying of railway tracks. The company has it own equipment like Tippers, dozer, rollers and JCB’s. The company takes good care of its employees by providing Resident accommodation and travel facility to employees on site, motivating employees to work hard.

• Present levels of urban infrastructure are inadequate to meet the demands of the existing urban population. There is need for regeneration of urban areas in existing cities and the creation of new, inclusive smart cities to meet the demands of increasing population and migration from rural to urban areas. Future cities of India will require smart real estate and urban infrastructure.
• India has an estimated urban housing shortage of 18.8 Million dwelling units. The housing shortage in rural India is estimated at 47.4 Million units, in 2012.
• The Government of India is in the process of launching a new urban development mission. This will help develop 500 cities, and these cities will be supported and encouraged to harness private capital and expertise through PPPs, to holstertheir infrastructure and services in the next 10 years.
• Infrastructure such as road, rail, dams, canals, airports, power systems, telecommunication systems, urban infrastructure including water supply, sewerage, and drainage and rural infrastructure is required to be develop in new cities. Plus, Assets once created also need to be maintained, which triggers need of construction sector.

Our Chairman, Mr.Shrinivas Patil has been awarded with Rashtra Ratna Award in the hands of Mr. Ismail Darbar and Mr. Udit Narayan for his work in the field of construction.

Our Chief Promoter and Managing Director, Mrs. Manisha S. Patil has been awarded the “Jijamata Krushibhushan Puraskar” from the Government of Maharashtra, in the hands of Chief Minister of State. It is the highest award in the Agriculture department.

She has also been awarded the “Mahila Udyogini Award” from one of the country’s premier institutes MITCON, for her contribution to the Economic and Agricultural Development of Country.
